Giving Access and Transforming Lives
We serve under-resourced communities and give youth access to holistic programming that transforms body, soul, and spirit to succeed.
We give access to all youth regardless of family situations, finances, and transportation!
We desire to serve youth and help them
GEAR UP for success
athletically, academically, personally, and spiritually as they progress into middle and high school. We serve east Baltimore, with over 2,500 elementary and middle school youth, and provide affordable access to before-during after-school programs, summer camps, or sports clinics.
Our organization offers unique and innovative solutions to a significant problem. We don't just provide before and after-school programs, summer camps, and sports training. We create a supportive and nurturing environment that addresses the holistic needs of the youth, setting them up for a successful future.
Six Ways BSA is Unique:
- Proactively serve elementary and middle school youth
- Give access to over ten different sports
- Serve churches, youth/families, and schools
- Combine athletic, personal/spiritual, social/emotional, intentional leadership development and academic support
- We strengthen the community by developing youth leaders and hiring them as they enter high school.
BSA Spring News
We offer the most affordable and holistic programming for youth and families.
After-School Program—It's great to get outside and enjoy a variety of outdoor activities, such as soccer, flag football, baseball, and our playground area. Kids also get a chance to enjoy archery and splat guns. We are excited to have new tutors helping kids with math and language arts.
Sports—Our spring sport is flag football. Instructional leagues offer high-level instruction, drills, and games to implement their skills. We also provide mindset lessons to prepare kids for the next level.
“I love this program. Sure, sports are great, but my children get much more. BSA programs are not just about sports; they are about shaping young lives and inspiring them to reach their full potential. - 3rd Grade Parent

Our Programs
We develop the whole athlete, body, soul and spirit.
" This program was sent from heaven; it is just what I needed to provide for my son; the sports are great, but the other lessons on school, character, confidence, and life are what sets them apart."
Mom of a 3rd-grade player
" So thankful BSA makes it possible for my son to play sports, but even better, they motivate him in school and to be a better person."
